Believe it or not, there are only a few
groups of antibiotic types. Since moldy
bread was accidentally found to kill bacteria,
only a handful of penicillin variations and
others have been introduced, and are available
today.
Here is a short list of antibiotic groups available:
* Penicillins such as penicillin and amoxicillin
* Cephalosporins such as cephalexin (Keflex)
* Macrolides such as erythromycin (E-Mycin), clarithromycin (Biaxin), and azithromycin (Zithromax)
* Fluoroquinolones such as ciprofloxacin (Cipro), levofloxacin (Levaquin), and ofloxacin (Floxin)
* Sulfonamides such as co-trimoxazole (Bactrim) and trimethoprim (Proloprim)
* Tetracyclines such as tetracycline (Sumycin, Panmycin) and doxycycline (Vibramycin)
* Aminoglycosides such as gentamicin (Garamycin) and tobramycin (Tobrex)
Here’s a list of their common side effects:
* Soft stools or diarrhea
* Mild stomach upset
* Vomiting
* Severe watery diarrhea and abdominal cramps
* Allergic reaction (shortness of breath, hives, swelling of your lips, face, or tongue, fainting)
* Vaginal itching or discharge
* White patches on your tongue
And here is a look at their cost:
Keflex: $50
Bactrim: $45
Cipro: $500
And finally, the biggest question, Does it Work?
Well, not so well, considering tens of thousands
die from MRSA every year in this country. The rate
of infections, especially in hospitals, is sharply on the
rise. And it hurts! Bad. They don’t call it the
flesh-eating bacteria for nothing.
Now let’s compare marijuana vs. antibiotics.
The amount of marijuana cream I made for my friend with MRSA
cost about 5-10 dollars to produce. No contest there.
The side effects? No-one’s ever died from marijuana
overdose. It’s not medically possible as far as we know.
Sure there’s red eyes, dry mouth, lethargy, the “munchies”,
and short term memory effects with marijuana, but compared to
“severe watery diarrhea” there’s not a very difficult choice.
Oh, and the best part, IT WORKS. I’ve seen it. I know I’m
only one person, but I’m here to testify!
